Burn Notice:

 

Copperbrook Homeowners:


Just a friendly reminder due to some recent events that have been brought to our attention that occurred within the community. Burning of trash and/or other materials within your Lot is strictly prohibited and against City of Houston Fire Code; 


Sec. 16.1.3 “Open burning prohibited. All open burning within the City of Houston shall be prohibited unless approved by the Fire Marshal and a permit issued”

Sec. 16.2.1. Open Burning is defined as; for the purpose of this standard is the burning of: a bonfire, rubbish fire, campfire, trench fire, or other fire in an outdoor location where fuel being burned is not contained in an approved incinerator, outdoor fireplace, barbecue grill or barbecue pit.”


The purpose of these types of regulations are for the safety of all community members, if this type of behavior continues the Board, at their sole discretion will send violation notices, applicable under City of Houston Fire Code. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns over this notice, or in need of a copy this Community’s governing documents and/or a copy of the City of Houston Fire Code.
